Gay Car

WhAt'S uP?
Just the biggest car race the
Howe family has ever seen.
***Too bad the race ended in carnage.
Se la vi!

What's up with your family?
Do tell, we want to know... .

(P.S.- In case you were wondering, "gay car"
is what Jack says when he wants to play his
car game. It's just too funny that it comes out "gay car!")

Being "Big Brotherly"

Contrary to popular belief
big brothers do not instantly know
how to be "big brotherly."

Case in point:
Good thing practice makes perfect!

Getting better:

There you go:
Good job Jack, you're trying
so hard to be a good big brother.

batter up!

When Nana came out to help with the baby she
brought the best gift ever... .

A baseball tee for Jack!

Jack was an instant fan.

You could literally tell what he was thinking
when Nana and Uncle Tucker
explained the rules of the game:
"What? I get to hit things and Mom
won't get
mad?
Sign me up!"

Here's Jack after a good game with himself.
(He won't let anyone close enough to
his tee to actually participate. I
guess it's time to work on the
concept of sharing
.)
Thanks Nana and Tuck Tuck,
we love the "b-ball!"

True Story

Tuesday May 27th:
Was Jill's due date.
I had my membranes stripped
(sorry I know it's a gross phrase) and we
scheduled an induction for the following day.

Wednesday May 28th:
At the stroke of Midnight
contractions start.
4:30 am I know they are "the real thing."
7:50 am Admitted into Hoag
Hospital's L&D Unit.
8:15 am IV in
9:40 am Epidural administered
10:05 am Ruptured waters
11:15 am Dilated to a 5
12:12 pm Pushin' time
12: 27 pm Welcome baby Jill.

Long Story Short:
Jill's birth started on it's own.
There was no induction,
just talk of one... .
Way to go body!

We spent 2 days in the hospital-
The food was good, the nurses were wonderful, our daughter is an angel,
Jack is an amazingly loving big brother,
and I fear I may need to carry around an
inflatable doughnut for the rest of my life!
